Frequently Asked Questions

Caliber is .22 rimfire. Tapered round barrel is 21 1/4" long. It has a fixed notch rear sight and a blade front sight, each dovetailed into the barrel. Barrel has about 98% of the original soft blue finish. Markings on the barrel are excellent. The receiver has about 98% original brilliant color casehardening remaining. Bore is excellent. Brilliant color casehardening also remains on the lever/breechblock. Original blue remains on the hammer. The simple walnut forend is in excellent condition showing very little use. The buttstock is mounted with a checkered hard rubber buttplate. Buttstock has been cracked on the left side with a large piece of wood which appears to have been cracked completely away from the receiver. Almost all of the wood pieces have been glued back in place except for a very small splinter just behind the tang. A repair screw is evident on the left side of the wrist. Overall condition of the gun is almost excellent. Modern Long Gun Rules apply.
