An embroidered cloth patch honoring the fur trading company that was established in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1670. The patch is 5” in diameter with a ½” burgundy border on which “HUDSON’S BAY COMPANY, INCORPORATED 1670” is lettered in bright gold. The 2 ½” x 2 ¾” flag of the HBC with its coat of arms and the legend “PRO PELLE GUTEM” in burgundy and bright old on a white background, flies across a 3 ½” center of antique gold. The center and the border are both outlined in bright gold. A truly beautiful patch that will be the envy of every buckskinner you know.
