All steel version of a percussion "hideout" derringer. The 2 3/8" round barrel is .41 caliber. Grips are walnut. Bore is rifled with 6 lands and 6 grooves and we recommend using a tightly patched .395 round ball with 15 or 20 grains of FFFg black powder. Overall length of derringer is 5 3/4". Barrel is marked on top ABILENE. Minor fitting, casehardening, bluing, staining and finishing required.
