This is the second of three patterns of shell jackets the Richmond Depot made for the Confederate Army. It features a slightly longer body than the first and third patters. Buttonholes are provided for the nine button opening; however, buttons are not furnished. This jacket has epaulets and sewn in place belt loops. Cuffs are plain and top stitched as are the front and bottom edge of jacket. Lined in muslin. Choose from dark gray, cadet gray, or butternut wool. Available in sizes 40, 42, 44 or 46.
