This cannon was known technically as the "12 pounder" but was referred to as the "Napoleon" after it's designer, Emperor Napoleon of France. This smoothbore cannon was used by both sides during the Civil War and made up 40% of the Union and Confederate artillery. This .50 caliber miniature version features an actual firing barrel, moveable carriage and accurate design. Wheel diameter is 6" with total height of 6 1/2". Barrel (white) is 7 1/4" long with overall length of cannon 14 1/2" and weight 3 lbs.
