This mechanism bolts or straps to the barrel over the vent hole of any muzzleloading cannon and can be altered to fit any diameter. Threaded vent hole for a 5/16X24 musket nipple (our stock number NP1335 $2.50) and place lock in place. Nipple is designed to accept winged musket caps. Fires with a 6" lanyard which gets you out of the way of the recoil of the gun. Well built and sturdy and ignites the powder charge instantly.
