We have located a supply of French amber flints. On one of our trips to Europe last year we came in contact with a French flint knapper. We feel this was extremely luck for us to find him. These are a little pricey but should last much longer than ordinary flints. This is the large size: 30 X 35mm ( appx. 1 1/8" X 1 1/8").
