Another version of the many British Infantry swords available to the American troops in the Revolution. Sword has a slightly curved, singe edged, 25 ¼”blade with a single fuller that runs to the beginning of the false edge, 5 ½” back of the point. The blade is ¼” thick and 1 ½” wide at the brass hilt. A heart shaped counter guard expands to three branches which join forming a half basket guard. The pommel is ball shaped and a quillion terminates above the blade. The scabbard is black leather and has a brass throat and tip. Overall 31” and weight is 2 ½ lbs.
