A faithful reproduction of original rifle used in 1874 during the famous shooting match Creedmore between the Irish and American teams. Features European walnut buttstock with pistol grip, checkered wrist, satin oil finish, 2" drop and 14 3/4" trigger pull. Chambered 45/70 with blued 30" barrel tapered octagon 1.100" at breech to .850" at muzzle, cut rifling .004" deep with 1-18" twist 6 lands measure .450" and 6 grooves measure .458". Front sight is 3/8" dovetail hooded post, rear sight blued steel, buckhorn style with sliding elevator, vernier tang sight adjustable for windage and elevation. Steel furniture color casehardened receiver and buttplate. Drilled and tapped for tang sight, 4mmx7, 1/1/2" center to center. Single trigger. Use 45/70 black powder cartridges or smokeless factory loads. Overall length is 46 1/2" and total weight is 10 1/4 lbs. . Made by Pedersoli in Italy.
