The basic casting was good, but I would have rather drilled and tapped the screw holes myself, then they would have been in the right place. The ones that were in the right place, e.g., the filister headed screws (hammer and frizzen screws) were drilled off center, and I don't have the proper sized counterbores to fix them. As noted in your other reviewers, the so-called trigger spring defies adequate verbal description. The two holes for the trigger guard are approximately 0.112" too close; yattata, yattata...........My advice: spend the extra $25 and get the completed article.
I doubt if I will ever go back and try to finish that item, even with the machine tools available to me.
