Product: FR0838 DGW EARLY AMERICAN JAEGER FLINT RIFLE

I have had this rifle about 2 weeks and have gotten to shoot it on 2 occasions at my range here at the ranch. It is well put together and sparks good. On my first time out, I was only able to shoot patched round balls like Mr Long as both types of .54 bullets I had here were to big in diameter to load.
Bought a Lee REAL mold, the 300 grain one, and found them easy to load and accurate. I used bore butter as a lube, filed the front sight a little, and increased the charge from 60 gr of ffg to 75 gr and got it shooting right on. Seems like a nice rifle to me.
