CR0205 HENRY RIFLE, .44-40 Reviews
Product: CR0205 HENRY RIFLE, .44-40 CR0205 HENRY RIFLE, .44-40
From: Stephen Cone
Date: Tuesday 25 July, 2017

I made an error in my review. The twist in the Uberti 1873 rifle is 1 turn in 20" in the 44-40. This is in the Uberti website under "Uberti groove twist". I own both and only fire black powder cartridges out of the Henry because with Unique I was getting wildly different velocities, depending on the position of the powder in the case and was concerned about the brass frame. I have really enjoyed both rifles and the experimentation with homemade lubes, lead mixtures etc. I shoot the 1873 better and it is usually with me BUT the Henry is really awesome and hangs in the house like a piece of art work.
