Wold LOVE nothing more than to post a review of this wonderful piece, but I still haven't received it from Dixie Gun Works, and as of this very day, Pietta, I am told, has not so much as even BEGUN manufacturing new orders of these, so God knows when I'll ever receive it. Here's my nightmare story so far:

Purchased my Lemat as a backorder in April of 2013. Was told I would have to wait a couple of months--August to be precise--for my gun to be shipped. Didn't happen. Called Dixie, they told me OOPS!--It would be October. Fine. I figured good things come to those who wait. October comes and goes, I call Dixie again. Now they tell me November, beginning of December for sure. Doesn't happen. I now email Pietta, the manufacturer in Italy and get the RUDEST REPLY EVER from the owners' son, some punk kid named Alessandro Pietta who obviously doesn't car at all about customer service. He tells me they haven't started running them, to relax, and that he doesn't know why Dixie Gun Works would have sold me a gun that his company hadn't even SCHEDULED to be put into production as of the time of his response, and that I should complain elsewhere. (I kept his absolutely rude email to me for posterity and I can produce it for anyone who is interested for details and to fact-check my story). Anyway, I then contact Dixie Gun Works YET AGAIN, and this time ask to speak to the buyer for said revolvers. I get her on the line and she sheepishly explains to me that Pietta has NOT GIVEN her so much as a plan of production date let alone a ship date on this gun. As I write this today, it is the end of the year, 12/28/13, and I still have ZERO idea when I may--if ever--receive my weapon. On top of this fact, I have to sit and stew in Pietta's family RUDENESS and evident CONTEMPT for their own customers, coupled with the displacement of some 1000 hard earned dollars of mine sitting in Dixie Gun Works' account system, languishing and certainly not making me any interest for almost a year now. Bottom line: I'm still waiting, as per the advice of the kind (and not-at-fault) Dixie Gun Works' purchasing agent--she suggested I not get a refund because the value of these Lemats are "...just going up up up!". So i wait. And wait. And wait.
