I got three of these recently for my Remington #4 Rolling Block. I used .22 Short cases with the bullet and powder removed instead of blanks and Triple 7 FFG powder. I also filed a flat spot on the bottom of some .310 lead round balls to give it a better seal on the powder. (there can be no air). The accuracy wasn't the greatest but I plan to experiment more, maybe find some .32 bullets that will work. Still, better than trying to find ammo or expensive kits. Last box I tried to bid on for ammo on Gunbroker went for well over $100.
