Review:

I have been wanting a Pedersoli 2nd model Bess for years so I decided to live a little. I could not be happier with the finish and workmanship. The vent hole is right where it needs to be, in the center and level with the top of the pan. There is a lot to be said for this because it is definitely a production musket. I cast some .735 balls and went to the range this weekend. I fired ten rounds without a single malfunction. The lock is a good sparker with a large black English flint. I would highly recommend this musket to anyone interested in a quality, historically correct smoothbore.
