Fullstock with birds head type grip and made of American walnut. Barrel is .50 caliber, 10 3/8”, octagon with a 1 in 18” twist. Front sight is steel base & blade, 3/8” dovetail . Rear sight is steel open style, 3/8” dovetail. Features brass triggerguard, sideplate & thimbles. Color casehardened lock & nosecap. Overall length is 15 ½” and weighs 2 ½” lbs. THIS IS A KIT AND COMES WITH UNFINISHED WOOD, AND UNPOLISHED METAL. (skill level 1 – beginners). THIS PRODUCT CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO NEW JERSEY OR CANADA.

This is a wonderful kit from Pedersoli. Out of the box all of the parts fit beautifully. The stock needed only minimal final sanding for flush parts fit and stained to a nice dark brown using Birchwood Casey. The barrel came blued and the brass parts just needed minor sanding/polishing. This pistol is also a good shooter. I recommend this kit to builders of all skill levels. This has been my second Pedersoli kit and and I feel they have the best kits on the market. Five stars easy.

I just completed this gun kit and am quite pleased. It was mostly inletted requiring only minor adjustments. I finished it with Birchwood casey stain and tru oil with the result being a great looking and shooting weapon. I would recomend it to any one wanting a kit experience with nearly guaranteed results.
