BU0903 Cast Sharps Bullets .544

These are excellent bullets and have proven very accurate in the Pedersoli Burdan Sharps. Use about 70 grains of double f black Goex and lube bullets with Dixie Old Zip Patch Grease You must use a VERY HOT cap like RWS. Shoots outstanding!

these came through nearly as good as ones i cast on my own. measure out at exactly .544 shoot well in my S.C. Robinson Sharps with a paper cartridge.

I drove down to DGW from Ohio just to get these! They are very nice with only a few of the 100 being rough. They do not appear to be pure soft lead but will probably do the job. I have since rolled up several rounds using the nitrated papers that DGW also sells. Very excellant results with a beautiful period correct look. I plan to try some nitrated linen next which should also work well with this bullet. I am satisfied with the product. DGW customer service is excellant and if you ever get bad ones then call them. They will make it right. Any of you who have not been to see their showroom are missing a treat! Harry

I am quite satisfied with these bullets. I have fired about 50 of these bullets so far using the nitrated paper cartridges in my new DGW/Pedersoli 1863 Robinson/Sharps carbine. They grouped well at 50 and 100 yards. I am now trying other loading configurations using these bullets (cigarette paper cartridges and loose powder) but I am happy enough to be ordering another of these 100 bullets today!

I got these over a year ago and just now got to use them. I found them to be excellent and the castings were all that I hoped.
