Rust-proof with lead-free solder, this drinking cup is 4" tall and approximately 4.2" in diameter. Holds about 30 oz. of liquid. Edges of handle and top of cup are rolled. These cups will leak and are not really for drinking purposes.

These are good tin cups that appear to be aluminized. They have a bright finish like a new hand made civil war tin-cup would have yet they will not rust. I have thrown away my rusted cups. The are not like the modern stainless steel cups that are stamped in one piece. I purchased two of these cups and will buy more if I need them.

I purchased one of these cups 7 years ago when I first started the hobby. After an uncountable number of hunts trekks rendezvous and re-enactments it is just now starting to show signs of rust on the inside. I recomend it highly. The finish does have a modern galvanized apperaance to it but just fill it with water and put it into the fire. Instant patina.

I bought one of these recently. The product description says it will leak so I have not even tried mine for drinking. However it is mighty handy for holding dry things such as small parts dirty patches etc. If you go to a N-SSA skirmish you'll see most of the competitors have a tin cup at their waist with their belt run through the handle. The shooters drop their plastic loading tubes in the cups after loading each shot. This cup is perfect for that sort of thing. It looks slightly tarnished and used even when new. Whether it leaks or not it is sturdily made. It looks authentic and is much less expensive than hot-dipped tinware. Mine measures 4\" in diameter by 4-1/8\"" high so it will hold a lot. I like it."

I was disappointed with the galvanized finish. However I should have noticed the \"rust proof\"" narrative. Despite that the cup is good value. "
