CY0608 Uberti Cylinder for the Remington .44 Army Revolver

Ordered 2 Uberti cylinders at 1:15pm received the next morning 9am. The shipping sure works! Next time I'll try 1:50 and see what happens. hahaha! The cylinders fit and function as they should. Eventually... after cleaning them I should say. The condition they were in sort of looked as though they were stored in a damp humid area not covered by anything. Some sort of sticky tape-like substance over a great deal of it. No biggie nothing a dip in acetone didnt cure. But the rust around the nipples was a disappointment. It took an hour of soaking to loosen the nipples and a small flat square pliers to break them free. I wasnt sure my nipple wrench would break or strip. So the pliers. The rust inside near the nipples at the back of the cylinder..and the small chips of machined metal that needed to be cleaned out was a pain. I finally used a small brass tube to \"stir things up back there\"" with the nipple end of the cylinder soaking in solvent. The metal filiings were no big deal but the rust? I had seriously thought of returning them. In the end Im glad I kept 'em they worked out fine. The 4 hrs spent cleaning them was a bummer but...for the money it was still worth it.
