DP6104 Bridle (repro.) for Dixie Charleville 1777 Repro. Musket and 1816 Musket

I wanted this to fit an original M1816 Springfield musket lock and I'm pleased to say that with minor modification it fitted well. The screw holes and the central hole for the tumbler all lined up with the original lock plate. the locating pin was not in the correct place for my lock but this was easily remedied by cutting it off. If you want to be lazy you can leave it at that as the hammer hides the hole at the front of the lockplate. however I just drilled a hole in the bridal at the correct point and inserted a new pin. Minor finishing was required to make the bridal look right as the surface was slightly rough.
