EP0333 Thompson Center Quick Release Mounting System Base (Thunderhawk)

Consists of a one piece base which houses an integral set of rings equipped with a spring loaded plunger. To remove the rings form the base, pull rings and scope rearward, tilt front up and lift it off the base. This system eliminates the hassle of removing or remounting scopes; permits removal of the scope from rifles for easy cleaning, and reinstalls in seconds; permits you to rotate your favorite scope to other pistols or rifles without having to remove the scope from the rings for vertical and horizontal crosshair alignment when switching the scope to other firearms. Because the ballistics and trajectory of different cartridges vary, it may be necessary to re-zero the scope for each gun (and cartridge).
