re previous comment; brass turns green when corroded and ALL caps produce corrosion. These are all brass not plated. I use on my rifles to protect the wood & lock from flash damage & debris. They also reduce the spray of cap fragments which can cause injury.

I have modified some of mine to clear hammer they are solid most uniform and turn green if you dont use cleaner after shooting.

good fit
These work great for protecting the stock around the nipple. you will have to adjust the position so the hammer does not hit. and maybe enlarge the hole for bigger nipples but they work great.,

Great buy only drawback is after 50 or so shots turns green... possibly only brass plated? But for $3 can't go wrong for looks and protection of barrel.
