FC0701 Flashguard (only) - Rifle Size

Heavy duty, 16 gauge steel guards will withstand a charge of 120 grains of powder without breaking! Contains the flash in the pan for safety and improved ignition, and provides protection for left-handers. The rifle size will fit most flintlocks with an external frizzen screw that stops on top of the flashpan bridle. Many locks have frizzen screws that enter from the back, so ,there is a replacement screw and nut assembly(NOT INCLUDED BUT CAN BE ORDERED SEPERATELY - STOCK NUMBER SC0703) for some of the better known locks. This is for the large Siler flintlock. Easily installed.
