The Gadsden flag was presented to Commodore Hopkins as the Commodore’s flag of the First Fleet Command by Col. Christopher Gadsden. It was hoisted at the same time as the Grand Union Flag and the First Naval Jack. This is a 3X5 feet, best quality flag on yellow Perma-Nyl material with the words at the bottom “Don’t Tread On Me” and a coiled rattlesnake in the middle of the flag. The rattlesnake is printed to the flag. Made in USA.
