An original .44 Walker pistol flask is an extremely rare and high priced piece. This reproduction is close to the original, but can easily be distinguished by slight differences in workmanship. The cannon and stand-at-arms design is embossed on both side. This flask is also correct for the Colt Dragoon and was issued with that gun many years ago. A necessary accessory for your Walker or Dragoon pistol. Adjustable charger from 30-50 gr. Increments.

Update; the mod to the set screw works perfectly. And duh the so called storage compartment is for additional round balls not stuff.

I just recieved my flask and am completely satisfied. It looks good and I had no problems adjusting the powder charge or filling it or anything. A fine product and worth the buy.

This bright brass medium-sized flask holds surprisingly little powder due to the volume lost by the spare-nipple compartment inside. With the spout adjusted it throws an accuate 40 grs. as is required for the Walker and is quite nicely detailed and sturdy.

I find that mine adjusted to maximum will throw between 30-34 grains of fffg or equivalent. This is a reasonably good charge for bullet loads in the Dragoon but not quite enough to get good compression in a Walker. Nevertheless the design looks like the flasks pictured with original Walkers. I find most of these replica flasks somewhat delicate and prone to separate at the seam. This one did that and I sealed it back up with glue.

In the previous review I made the claim that this flask was good for a maximum 35 grain charge. What I overlooked was the actually adjustment feature of the item. There is a small screw on the side of the nozzle portion of the flask. Loosen this and the spout extends in increments to its full charge level
