Swaged lead balls are as near to perfectly round as is possible. This process eliminates the sprue and guarantees uniformity from one ball to the next. They are free of air pockets which sometimes occur in cast round balls, and target shooters recognize swaged ball advantage over cast. .310 diameter - 45 grain weight.

the squirrel rifle was made to hit small and distant targets. i am listing disadvantages and advantages of these little balls. i used these in my handmade squirrel rifle before casting my own. Pros: Economical. The little 32 caliber pill makes more bullets per pound than others. and it takes much less powder to send it on at lethal speed. and with a squirrel rifle accurate aimed shots are the norm. perfect for its intended purpose. and it is somewhat more lethal than the 22LR round at close range Cons. Unless you want to be jailed or you are some crackshot dont hunt anything bigger than hog with these. They are small and lose energy. not to mention the wind punishes the 32 more. bigger balls are inheritly more stable in flight and have a better chance of hitting far shots. Range results: 50 yard sight in. 5 slugs on bullseye in a 1/2inch mass. yes these balls are truly accurate than one can expect. 200 yard sight in. with sight tweaking i got 5\" groupings out of 4 shots. so any reasonable target wont be missed.
