Very similar in design to Tedd’s Rifle/Pistol capper, this one has been designed for use with most black powder revolvers. It is 3”long X 2” wide with a 1” curved neck that makes this capper so easy to use when loading a black powder revolver. Capacity is 100 #10 or #11 caps which are gravity fed into the capper’s spring steel jaws for loading. WILL NOT FIT REMINGTON REVOLVERS because of the high, rounded shoulders on the nipple recesses; also, may not work with oddity revolvers such as pepperboxes, However, this capper is excellent for capping inline ignition firearms, which are hard in the best of situations for capping with one’s fingers. Brass revolver capper, polished.

This capper works with my Dixie 185 Navy .36 but it took some tweaking. The exit jaws had to be widened just a little to allow the cap to release. This kind of customizing may be required depending on the caps you use with it.

A well made piece that lives up to the Cash reputation. BUT it would not work as supplied with the Uberti 1862 Navy revolver. The nose of the capper would not fit in the small notches around the nipples. It can be made to work which is good news given the limited choices for the little '62 Navy. A careful reprofiling of the nose slight shortening of the spring and it works with the small cylinder just fine.
