Well machined high quality replacement nipple. Has a smaller flash-hole which prevents fine powder from falling straight through as the original Ruger nipple is prone to do. Fit straight onto my gun with no trouble at all and gave 75 straight shots without a single mis-fire. I've odered a second set for my other Ruger. Recommended.

I have always had trouble with misfires in the Ruger Old Army and had heard about these replacement nipples. They are much higher quality than the factory Ruger nipples. With the factory nipples I usually fired two cylinders before getting misfires due to fouling around the cones and hammer. First range trip after installing these 0 misfires for over 100 rounds. They appear to be slightly longer in length than the factory part and fit more firmly in the cylinder. Recommend these highly.
