BE0214 Enfield Bayonet - LIMIT OF 10

I managed to get my hands on a genuine P1853 English 3-band Musket (identical in appearance to the Enfield rifle) at a reasonable price since it was beat up and unbelieveably grungy. After cleaning the weapon up I bench fired it from some distance away with a string around the trigger (hey it was the first firing in some 150 years). The musket performed admirably so I elected to buy the DGW bayonet. I was wary since other reviewers had spoken of filing and other adjustments. I should not have worried ... the baynoet snapped right on like it was issued with the musket and the appearance of the two together is extremely impressive! Very Good DGW!

I ordered on of the Enfield Bayonets. I received imy bayonet yesterday. It is very well made and it fits perfectly.

Nice, hefty bayonet. Remember this, however. This bayonet will not fit the 2-Band Enfield rifle. If you have a 2-Band Enfield, you need to order the sword bayonet, not this socket bayonet.

High quality fits rifle well. Does NOT fit in either the BE0213 scabbard or original scabbard. Bayonet has shoulder where blade changes to socket. Shoulder is approx 1 inch too far down the blade compared to original bayonet. It was an easy fix with some careful use of a bench grinder some filing and polishing.
