An exact copy of an axe found 70 years ago in a circa 1750 Virginian fortified house. A poll axe like this could be used for chopping, hammering, and of course, self defense. Our reproduction features a 1 piece cast head with a 2 ½” hardened cutting edge. The opposite end has a 15/16” squared hammer head. The 16” hickory handle gives it a balanced feel as well as leverage for cutting. Perfect for camp or home! Spare handles are available. Axe Head made of 6150 Spring Steel.

i love mine it has a thick bit and it is very light it dose need a metal wedge to make it fit tight sharpens well the hammer poll is great the handle is very comfy .
