Walnut, 95% inletted and shaped. Ramrod channel cut and drilled. Screw holes must be drilled, must install nosecap ,and barrel band springs. Replacement for originals; may use for 1855-1863 Springfield rifles, the 1866 Springfield, the 1868-1870 Springfield and some contract rifles. The Trapdoor models 1866, 1868 & 1870 will require extra inletting work for the receiver area.
