17524 WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION CARBINE

.32-40 caliber. Serial number is 915362, made in 1922. The frame is gray in color with lightly rounded edges and corners. Markings on the tang are excellent. Saddle ring is located on the left side of the frame. Action works perfectly and the bore is about mint. Standard walnut stocks are present and are very dark. The buttstock is mounted with a steel shotgun style buttplate which is smooth. The round barrel is 20" long and has a full length magazine beneath it. The barrel and magazine each retain about 80% of the original blue finish. Barrel markings are excellent. The front sight is a blade on a stud behind the forward barrel band and the rear sight is a ladder style. Markings on the barrel are perfect. Overall condition of the gun is very fine. Modern long gun rules apply.
