17624 WINCHESTER MODEL 1905 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE

Caliber is .35 Winchester. Serial number 26069, made in 1911. Tapered round barrel is 22" long. The barrel and frame have 100% of a blue finish remaining. The blue is probably a very high quality refinish as the color is not exactly like the original Winchester blue. It is slightly darker in color. All markings are excellent and show no evidence of having been polished or buffed. Edges and corners are perfectly sharp and all flat surfaces are perfectly flat. The action works perfectly. The walnut forend and buttstock are each in excellent condition and show only handling wear. The buttstock is mounted with a checkered hard rubber buttplate which fits perfectly. The original magazine is also present. Fire blue finish is present on the breechblock. Overall condition is excellent but possibly restored. Modern long gun rules apply.
