Beautiful suede and soft leather. Perfect for my Sharps. The leather smells like campin outside. Makes me think of Billy Dixon/Bat Masterson at Adobe Walls.

Many years ago I bought one of these to carry my Browning BPCR. I loved it right from the beginning. It's pleasant to handle smells great even after all these years and fits the gun perfectly. I recently purchased two Winchester High Wall and one Winchester Low Wall. Boy was I happy to find that Dixie still carries this item in their catalog. I bought one for each of my rifle.

Beautifly made, soft suple leather to protect your treasured rifles
I bought a few other leather fringed rifle case for some of my muzzle loaders, but was never happy with them. Then I found this one. Beautifully made, soft yet protective of your treasure. A perfect fit for my 54 Cal Percussion Sharps. I'm now In the process of acquiring another on for my new (to me) Jaeger Kentuckian Flintlock rifle. Also, beautiful brown color.

This is a well made rifle case. The only problem is that the matching leather draw strings to tie the end of the case break apart when they are pulled tight. So had to replace them with leather shoe strings. Other then that the case is nice and fits my Hawken rifle well. At a price of $60 this should not have happened.
