Manufactured for the Sharps M1859 rifle by Collins & Co. Saber style bayonet with 20” blade which is in fine condition. Blade is marked “COLLINS & CO., HARTFORD, CONN” on the left side of the ricasso and dated “1861” on the right side. Brass hilt is numbered 138 and the overall length is 25”. Features leather wrapped scabbard with brass tip and throat with frog stud. Overall condition is fine plus.
