Pedersoli makes a kit that is easy to understand and fast to assemble. This Queene Anne pistol went from pieces to being complete in one evening. All of the parts are of good quality and a minimal amount of time was spent shaping the stock to a tight fit. The trigger guard needed to be bent slightly to fit the contour of the stock and due to my own haste (and knowing better) I snapped the trigger guard at the rear screw hole. No one seems to notice my error until I call their attention to it. Overall I highly recommend this kit to any beginner. It builds confidence as well as a quality pistol. Accuracy is impossible with this pistol but considering the design it isn't built for accuracy. This is a nice piece to slide in the belt of any reenactor.

I have wanted a Queen Anne pistol for over 8 years and finally got around to ordering one. I love it! it is a beautiful piece and for the most part is VERY solid and durable. Except the trigger guard... I also accidentally snapped the trigger guard at the rear screw hole. The cast trigger guard needed to be bent slightly to fit the stock correctly and instead of it bending it broke with very little pressure. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this kit. I was able to fully assemble the piece including shaving off excess wood from the stock and sanding the stock smooth in less than 2 hours.

How could you not buy this kit? Only thing I had to really modify was the lock spring-it comes way too strong and will break your flints. Be carfull on trigger guard.. heat it up to make the proper bend. This is really a well done kit with excellent wood! If pedersoli had not milled their name on the bottom of the barrel(largely I might add) the this would be a dead ringer for a period piece.

superb kit. vent hole lines up perfectly but maybe to small will possibly be drilling larger for a liner maybe. Side plate missing from the kit but will fabricate my own from steel. Some posted this is an afternoon kit which I beg to differ you really need to spend more time to show the true beauty of this kit.
