They go off with a resounding bang and provide good ignition. They seem to fall between CCI and Remington in cup thickness or toughness with CCI requiring the heaviest hammer impact for reliable firing

RWS makes some of the best caps you can get. Every cap fires reliably. Best part is they open up upon firing and fall away from the gun. I've seldom had to pry off a stuck cap after firing.
