A MUST for any Hunter!
Anyone who hunts and enjoys the process and science behind developing loads and shooting will enjoy this shotgun.
With a 10ga you can take any game. Load it up with massive roundballs for deer or BBs for Geese. Ease it back for Pheasants, woodcock or dove.
Sure, it's a process to load... and reload, but like any muzzleloader it forces you to slow down, contemplate your shot and enjoy your time in the field.
The materials of this gun are top notch. I love the look of the browned barrels. One of the engravings was off slightly but after contacting Pedersoli and IFG, they shipped a new lock plate/hammer assembly at no charge.
Beware!!! If you buy this gun, you will need to spend a significant amount of time at the patterning board, tweaking your powder amount, payload size, wad type, shot cup slit length, preferred cap, etc... But if this statement makes you smile, you know you're ready.
I read all the articles on North American Muzzleloader's website prior to purchasing this gun and there's some great advice on load development.
Thanks Pedersoli and Happy Shooting!
