The favorite model revolver of Samuel Colt and James Butler モWild Billヤ Hickok the 1851 Navy Colt is perhaps the most popular and elegant of the percussion revolvers. Having owned a number of caplock guns myself including the 1860 Army Colt the 1858 Remington 3rd Model Dragoon and 1861 Navy I must say that the 1851 Navy is perhaps the most accurate and easy shooting of them all. If the pistol fits your hand and you have a good eye the ball seems to land just where you look. This is a weapon that I would not feel under armed with even on the streets of the 21st Century.

Fast shipping and fast fun. Shoots dead on with 20 grains of fffg and a 130 grain minie. Points instinctively. Would recommend this gun to anyone for any practical purpose. I hope you enjoy the review I made linked below. This gun will lob those rounds right in at 75 yards if you use two hands that is. Here is a bit of my one handed shooting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxTWXfFFYvM&feature=c4-overview&list=UUYJMYY9kMcb6vdNLYSddfPA

Well made reliable and accurate. The trigger pull is in the 2 1/2 - 3 lb range. The internal parts are higher quality than I am used to seeing on a gun in this price range.

What a ggggggggreat pistol very accurate and reliable. I have put a hundred rounds down range already and I'm so happy with it I'm going to buy a second one for shooting in the SASS black powder events.

I got mine several months ago so have had time to see how it goes.Really impressed with this pistol.Fit and finish were very goodbeautiful figured piece of wood and excellent bluing and case hardening.I tried it out at 25yds and was suprised to have all 5 .380 balls go into about 3 inches all 6\"high directly above where I aimed.Greatno aiming off.I soldered a higher brass bead to the front sight to lower the POI.Another thingI got a Kirst cartridge conversion cylinder for this pistol and that works just great too.I use 38spl cases loaded with a hollow based projectile."
