The quality of this pistol is nothing short of outstanding. Its a great shooter and cleans up easily. They don't make them any better than this.

With the only exception being that the color case parts could be more colorful everything else was perfect on this revolver straight from the box. I could not have bought a better reproduction of an 1860 colt from anyone else. Functions great and shoots great. A taller front sight so as not to have to aim low to hit your target would be the only thing I would like to see changed. But I am getting used to this the more I shoot this and other C&B revolvers.

I purchased one of the 1860 Army Revolvers several years ago and comparing it to an original it is exceptional in detail. It also shoots better than I expected.

I bought one of these guns over 10 years ago. I fooled around with a file on the notch in the hammer a bit and got it to shoot spot on to the sights such as they are. While I have not shot it as much as I could have it has not been neglected in that respect. It is holding up beautifully showing almost no wear. It is a beautifuly made piece so much that I made a walnut box to keep it in made an ebony cleaning rod and bought the other goodies to fill up the box. You can't go wrong with this item.

I find this revolver to have better fit and finish than my Pietta revolvers. Came with a trigger pull to die for. My next step will be to order a R&D conversion cylinder and do some SASS shooting.
