2 piece European walnut grips with satin finish. Stainless steel frame. .44 caliber stainless steel barrel - 8". Tapered octagon - .700" at breech to .680" at muzzle. Button rifled .005" deep. 1 in 30" twist. 7 lands - .440 and 7 grooves - .450. Front sight-blued steel, ramp style w/blade. Rear sight - open style, adjustable for windage and elevation. Uses #11 percussion caps. Six shot - .446 chamber diameter. Features a brass triggerguard and stainless steel backstrap. Color casehardened hammer and trigger. 13 3/4" overall and 2 3/4 pounds. Recommended load is 22 grains 3F black powder, .454 round ball, .44 revolver wad.

My son and his Fiancee bought 2 of these. Gave 1 to me for Christmas. Went to the range today and fired these at 50yd targets with 25 grain fffg powder. Dead on sights. Right out of the box. We are very happy with these. Background on myself: Have been shooting and hunting with black powder guns for over 30 years. Take Care and Stay safe.

Why do all the Italian reproduction Cap-n-Ball revolvers have a chamber diameter that is SMALLER than the bore diameter? Only way to get accuracy similar to the original guns is to ream the cylinders to a size 2 to 3 thousands of an inch larger than the actual bore. Be sure to MIC everything before you make the changes.
