17588 MAUSER LUGER PISTOL

Chamber has desirable date of "1937." Toggle is marked "S/42." Serial number is 9498 and matches throughout except for the magazine. Magazine is numbered 9917 on the aluminum baseplug. Excellent straw colored take down lever, trigger, safety lever, ejector and magazine release. The straw colored parts indicate desirable early style finish. All markings are excellent and the gun has about 90% of the original blue finish. Checkered grips are in very fine condition except for two minor bruises on the right side. Overall condition is excellent.
