One piece European walnut grips with satin finish. Steel frame. Blued 7 1/2" tapered round barrel . .765" at breech to .700" at muzzle. Front sight - blued steel blade and rear sight - V notch in top of frame. Caliber is 44 Special - broached rifling .006" deep. 1 in 20" twist. 6 lands - .417 and 6 grooves - .429". Six shot. Features blued steel and is 13" overall length and weighs 2 3/4 pounds.
Has the cylinder base pin screw and a round bullseye ejector rod head.

3 click hammer not 4 click
This "Old Model" Uberti has the new style safety with only 3 clicks, not the traditional 4 click hammer. It was my understanding that Uberti was still making the "Old Model" with the base pin screw with 4 click hammers (not the spring loaded base pin retainer), but apparently whoever imports them is able specify to some extent (at this point in time anyway).
The fit and finish was OK enough, with a ding with metal displaced on the front sight that was blued over, so it had to come that way from the factory. The ears were a bit too buffed when polishing, almost to the point they don't contain the back strap mounting screws. The big plus is that it was available and at 1/3 to 1/4 the price of a real Colt and not "Out Of Stock" like so may places are now. It's a keeper even with the issues listed.
