18089 PLANT ARMY REVOLVER

3rd Model. Caliber is .42 cupfire. The octagonal barrel is 5 3/8" long and has an integral top rib. The top rib is mounted with a silver blade front sight and is marked "PLANT'S MFG. CO. NEW HAVEN, CT." The barrel has about 20% original blue finish with the balance slightly oxidated and brown. The left side of the barrel is marked "MERWIN & BRAY, NEW YORK." The brass frame has about 60% of the original silver plating remaining. The ejector rod is located on the right side of the frame behind the cylinder. The action works well. The cylinder has traces of thin original blue finish but is mostly faded to gray and brown. Serial number is 6210. Two piece rosewood grips are in very good condition. They have a small chip missing on the right side of the bottom rear and also a small chip on the edge of the left grip. Overall condition is very good plus.
