One piece full stock in American walnut with satin finish. 35” length with a 1 ¾” drop and 14” trigger pull. Barrel is a .577 caliber, blued, 24”. Tapered round – 1.090 at breech to .820 at muzzle. Broached rifling - .004” deep. 5 lands - .577 and 5 grooves -.589. 1 in 48” twist. Front sight is blued steel base and blade. Rear sight is blued steel, flip-up w/elevator marked to 600 yards. Ignition is percussion – musket size caps. Features color casehardened locks, line engraving on lockplate and hammer. Lockplate marked “1861 Tower” with crown on tail. Blued steel barrel bands. Brass nosecap, buttplate and triggerguard. Stock marked “Birmingham Small Arms Trade” w/crown on right side of buttstock. Saber style bayonet lug on side of barrel. 40” overall length and weighs 7 lbs. Accessories include a .275 steel rod threaded 10 X 32. Nipple 8 x 1.25MM(our stock number NP1480-steel). Recommended load is 60 grains FFg with a .577 minie (or) .570 round ball with a .010 patch. Manufacturered by Pedersoli/Italy. N/SSA APPROVED.

This Pedersoli Musketoon is a fine looking repo of the orginal musketoon. The quality is equal to the Parkerhale enfield. I can't wait to take it the range and shoot it . Will try mini 577 and patched round ball .To see what's more accurate for hunting Big Game.
