LA1500 LAMB TALLOW

I've used lamb tallow as patch lube for about three years now. It works best in warm/hot weather months as it does not liquify as easily, but will get soft. It's more difficult to use in cold weather as it may crumble a bit, but still lubes well. This product also cures a bore extremely well reducing the amount of cleaning patches needed for post shoot clean up. The expense is a consideration. Terribly expensive, just wow.

This tallow is a very good patch lube when the weather is warm. But in temperature extremes like Hot or Cold it can be messy when it's hot, or a challenge when it's cold to lube a dry patch with. But the temp extremes outside do not hinder the tallow's lubricating qualities, just a human's convenience handling the product. Using this product I find the cleaning of the black powder afterward much easier. It's only real hinderance is the expense.

I ordered two containers. I weighed each full container with the lid on. One weighed 12.8 ounces and the other weighed 12.9 ounces. $45.50 with shipping for less than a 1.5 pounds tallow.
