BR1209 Machined Breechplug w/Flared Tang - 1" (For 1" Swamped Barrel)

No hand fitting is required (except when forming 7/8" to fit a 13/16" barrel, then file the top of the tang). Flared tang plugs have 2" tangs, that can be turned into a fish tail or scallop, or left square, for guns ca. 1780 - 1820. The flare at the end of the barrel is 1/2" wide tapering to 3/4". Fits barrel sizes 1", threaded for 5/8 X 18, for 1" swamped barrel.
