Plain, flat faced buttons with braised wire loop shanks. Most commonly found on Hessian uniforms of the Revolutionary War Era. As a rule, they were manufactured in a variety of sizes and were virtually indistinguishable from civilian buttons of the same period. Depending on the color of the regiment’s metal they were made of tombac (an alloy of copper & zinc), or thin brass. These buttons are available in brass, copper or German Silver. Sold in packages of 3. Please state choice.
