This is the proper name for the 6-pdr. cannon rear sight.Sight swings freely from a bracket affixed to the breech of the cannon tube. Sight automatically levels with the elevation of the barrel by the weighted lead bulb at its base. The brass elevation bar is marked with an adjustable slide in increments of o to 5. Remove sight before firing cannon. High quality, handmade in Tennessee.
