This fiber optic set can be installed on a wide variety of muzzleloading firearms. The front sight is a standard 3/8” dovetail – dovetail can be filed smaller if necessary of the dovetail slot on the barrel can be enlarged slightly by using a small triangle file. The blued steel base features the fiber optic across the top to form an optic bead when viewed from the rear. The rear sight is blued steel and is fully adjustable for windage and elevation with the adjustment markings in white. The base is made to fit octagon barrels up to 1”. Each sight set comes with three dovetail inserts to fit different manufacturers rear sight dovetails. Inserts are .350, .375(3/8”) and .500 (1/2”). The dovetail insert is used in place of the rear sight and the new rear sight is secured to the insert by a screw supplied with the set.
